I’m not going to let this happen to anyone else if I can help it.

It cost me twice the price that I would have paid if I had been given a chance to shop around. I’m barely scraping by, but in the end, it wasn’t a bargain. DON’T DO IT! You will get ripped off!Īs you might have guessed, my dad gave me a free trial disc because he didn’t need it. Come to find out, I could have bought it for less than half of what I ended up paying to reimburse him for that renewal! I want to warn others who are renewing an active Kaspersky account. I wrote a blog post about the situation, and by the time I was finished I was really annoyed. I knew I could get it for less, but I felt obligated to reimburse him. It was only right to send him the $49.99 plus tax. Nice, huh? It was mine, but I wasn’t ready to buy. I made the mistake of accepting a free 90-day trial disc from my dad, and he just renewed it because he thought that it was his email notification.

Is it cheaper to renew Kaspersky or buy it again? I found out the hard way. I wanted to shop around for virus protection, but I didn’t get that chance.
